Being a student in this economy is often quite hard. My favorite thing to escape from this world is to just make an other and explore it with friends! That's why I absolutely adore Dungeons and Dragons. 

When I have time and not too stressed out I love to dm (dungeon master). For people who don't know what D&D is, it is a tabletop rolplaying game (trpg). You all make a fantasy character with all their unique talents, skills and magic. One person (the dungeon master) makes the entire world with all the NPC's (Non Playable Characters) and narrate the world for the other players. Those players can try to influence the story by rolling their dice and see how well their actions play out. 

You can battle all kinds of monsters, explore dungeons and the world, make friends with the NPC's (or enemies) and just hang out with each other!

For school i wanted to make a kind of magazine page about Dungeons and Dragons. I never finished this but it does show how much I am willing to talk about Dungeons and Dragons that I wanted to write my own article about it haha.

I DM'ed a campaign (sadly only played one session) which took place in a City, Itaphia. The player characters meet at a science festival and all have friends who disappeared so when they see a creature getting kidnapped they chase the guys who took them. 

 

The world was inspired by 'The Legend of Korra' and 'Arcane'. The city was split into factions so the NPC's here on the right are the faction leaders. The players all got the poster you see above this text for the immersion! I really liked this campaign and story but this was my first time being a DM and it was hard to get the players in one place so sadly this campaign died. 

This was the villain for this campaign. She kidnaped magical creatures from the forest next to the city and even magical visitors and sucked the magic right out of them to make the best fuel in the world. I love me some anti-capitalist stories haha. She hated all magic and just wanted to be the greatest scientist in the world. Destroy all magic and just trust machines. It is unfair that random creatures from the forest get this amazing powersource but 'normal' humans don't. So why not steal all the magic and sell it to the highest bidder? 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I turned the monks in this universe and turned them into athletes. I really like monks but I just couldn't really fit them in this modern city so I decided make up a sport which the city became famous for, and the people who play that sport are the monks of this universe. Very fun to change the flavor of a class like that, had lots of fun!

I DM'ed together with a friend of mine. They also were a bit new to DM'ing and the players were with quite. a big group so we decided to DM together! This was an illustration I made for my Dungeon master notebook. My co-DM drew us on sticky notes and you can see those on the left haha. It was a very fun collab :3.

 

 

 

My friendgroup and I love to go to Elfia (a big fantasy event with nice shops, music and food!). After we all went to elfia I organized a D&D one shot. Here are some of the NPC's I made for that one shot!

This is one of the characters I play called Zera (They are actually called Zerachiel but no-one except their parents call them that). They are a aasimar wild magic sorcerer. Came to earth to party, do magic drugs and flirt with everyone.

This is Willow! He's a little fox who almost died while protecting his forest but a bad guy scientist artificer dude mutated him and let him fight other mutated animals. He managed to secretly learn the magic of being an artificer, modified his body and escaped these battles, freed his fellow mutated friends and decided to dedicate his life to saving everyone in need with nature and technology. He is a multi class; Battle Smith Artificer and circle of the shepherd Druid. I really love this character and design :).

This big fella is Urimar! He is a half orc barbarian who wanted to retire from fighting and be a farmer with his wife and kid but when his wife and daughter die because of a plague, he decides to pick up his battle axe again and once more go on adventures!

This is a little self insert character I made just for fun! I made myself a little druid faun :)

When I was in a restaurant once I saw a chef making food and I thought, wow that's kind of magical! What if you flavor a artificer in such a way that he's a chef! So that's what I made! 

For halloween I decided to organise a oneshot! I told every player to make a little child character, what they liked and why they want to collect the most candy this year for halloween. Based on every child's intrest I made a character sheet for them. The cemetery had been acting up a lot last days and the reason is candyzombies! An old man who used to be a candy maker and gives each child a magic candy. when they eat their candy they turn into a overpowered version of themselves. The kid who loves batman turns into batman, The kid who loves robots turns into a big strong robot, ect!

This was really fun and we ended the oneshot by going to a carnival so it really felt like a perfect day!

These are 2 characters I played for oneshots! The one on the left is a crazy clown wizard and the one on the right is a security guy haha. I love making these extremely diverse characters. With D&D I get the change to be someone entirely different, but because I play them, they still have something from me. It is just so fun to hang out with my best friends and play these silly little characters!

I hope I can play D&D the rest of my life, make lots of worlds, characters and happy memories with my friends :)
