In school we are required to participate in drawing lessons. these are some of the drawings I made! It's definitely not everything I've made, just a bit of a selection but yeah, enjoy!

The photo's beneath here are part of a big zine I made at the end of a schoolsemester. We had to make a kind of collage of the stuff we were happy with and my twin, who's doing the same study as I am, was teasing me about how I couldn't do this assignment because I don't like cutting and messing up art I'm proud of. So out of spite I cut and tore up my work and made a zine.

I really like making drawings, just to practice stuff. It is very low pressure and relaxing. I love being in a place and just drawing what I see. I don't get the opportunity to do that often with my busy life but when I do I try to make the most of it.

I don't often work with paint so I'm very glad I'm getting forced to do it sometimes in the drawing studies. I love the texture and how the colors mix. Also just very fun to make portraits of my classmates.

This is definitely one of my favorite drawings I made! At the start of the lesson I was struggling a lot with the ink but with this drawing I was kind of embracing the splashes and the drops that flowed down. I also really love the combination of the ink and the chalk. And I was just really lucky with this pose and model, it was a good day. I really should make more art with materials I usually don't work with, it is very relaxing.

Realistic self-portraits are always a confronting thing to do haha. I don't usually look at myself that intensely but it is very fun to look back to.

These drawings I made in krita! I decided I wanted to try digital stuff more so when we had to make light studies I decided to do it in Krita. It was fun to try out the brushes and I was blown away by how much more easy it was. I was afraid to try it because usually I'm pretty bad at anything digital but this gave me a burst of confidence! I definitely am gonna use Krita more and just be less afraid to try something with computers haha :).
