After long busy days I love to take my time and cook up nice and comforting meals for me and my friends. I love the experimenting with dishes, cooking with friends and the yummy end results! Making food is a creative outlet for me. I love making things look good or fun and hopefully they'll taste good and fun too! Here are some things I made but if you really want to experience me being a chef, just shoot me a message and maybe I'll cook or bake you something ;)
I made a little gingerbread house and made little gingerbread people! I made myself, my siblings, parents and grandparents. It was very hard to eat these little guys but very fun to make
I got a lord of the rings cookbook and made little apple pastries following one of the recipes!
One of my comfort foods is Japanese curry. It is also easy to make a lot of so my go to food when people are coming over!
I am a vegetarian and tofu is a very populair meat substitute but I hated it at first. But these cabbage rolls are an example of tofu winning me over!
Instant ramen is something we eat a lot of as students but making (semi) proper ramen is also very worth it! This was amazing!
My grandma made poached pears a lot and they are so nostalgic. So I made a couple during Christmas to share!
Look how cute these little cupcakes turned out! This was a very fun night, we decorated cupcakes with a bunch of cool people and it was very nice to just be creative with each other!
These are some snacks I made for when I hung out one time with some of my classmates! And to the right you can see I'm even trying to brew my own honey mede! The batch was not perfect but I still really liked the mede! So hopefully when I perfect the craft more and more, it will be even better!
Look at these cute little cookies I made with my partner! They are pretty simple cookies but with some food coloring and a bit of colored icing, they turn into little masterpieces! I love hanging around with my loved ones in the kitchen. The kitchen kind of became THE hanging spot in our house. I'm busy cooking while my friends keep me entertained with their conversations and help me once in a while. It really is one of my favorite times of the day!
The cupcakes you saw earlier inspired me to also do some cupcake decorating for my and my twin's birthday! I baked some cupcakes and a birthday cake (also following one of the recipes from my LOTR cookbook) and it was really an amazing birthday!! Everyone made beautiful cupcakes and it was just a very chill birthday!
